Animation Funtime!
As the new term begins, and the final slope to the degree show looms ahead, I thought it would be fun to show where I do my coursework.
My 4th year studio space is even more like f***ing pixar! This is the womb from which “Great Apes!” will eventually be birthed. I encourage ye to click the picture to truly appreciate the full grandure of my “nutty room” and all of it’s idiosyncrasies. And yes, I am great. Unashamedly so.
Speaking of Pixar, these two deviants reside above the studio space of the distinguished Chris Seed, changing pose every day with surprising commitment. In his (much missed!) absence, they’ve turned to petty theft. SHAMEFUL.

While animating the human character for the film yesterday, i noticed that in some of my drawings, he looks like an uneasy mix between my old school friend Peter Mills and David Bowie. Ahh, what I wouldnt give to be able to keep my characters “on-model”…
That’s all for now!

Another great entry. I took your advice and enjoyed the picture at its full size- I did not regret it. Hope you’re still keeping a keen eye on the ECA jewellery scene xxx

Shamefull indeed! Just wait until i get back there!
It’s great to see that animation on the human has begun; I can’t wait to see it on Monday.
That wall just seems to keep getting better. For those who have wall space, it’s a good use of it!

“For those that have wall space”? Do i detect a twinge of resentment, Chris? You should yoink Ian’s wall space, i don’t think he’s coming back…
Looking forward to your return!

Hey man, thanks for the comment on my blog! I came through for your degree show last week and thought your film was awesome. Hope we can have a chat when you’re over. Just putting the finishing touches on my film now, hope you enjoy the show.
